NewOcean to extend payment for 2016 loan

NewOcean Energy Holdings is seeking consent from banks to postpone a principal payment on a $150m loan signed in 2016.

The oil and gas company, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, had a $105m principal payment due on September 1, it said in a filing this week. The remaining $45m had already been paid back.
