UniCredit gathers strong demand as new deal window opens

UniCredit attracted plenty of demand for a €1.25bn sale of non-preferred senior debt in euros on Wednesday, as issuers took advantage of strong funding conditions ahead of the summer period.

Credit and equity markets were rallying during the course of the morning, amid better than expected earnings releases and positive news on the development of a Covid-19 vaccine.

UniCredit spied its opportunity to bring a seven year non-call five non-preferred senior bond in front of euro investors.
