Italy to offer guarantees of up to 100% on bank loans

Italy is set to announce a new decree law that would allow banks to use public guarantees to cover 90%-100% of their lending.
Italian finance minister Roberto Gualtieri said on national television at the end of last week that the new liquidity measures were among “the strongest in Europe”, as part of an economic response to the coronavirus pandemic.
