Vena Energy lights up market with European-bought bonds

Renewable energy company Vena Energy stumped Asian investors with its debut bond sale on Wednesday, relying instead on heavy support from Europe.

The Singapore-headquartered Vena Energy is one of Asia Pacific's largest independent power producers. It has assets and operations in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia and the Philippines.
