CME hits FX record in volume and open interest

CME on Monday reported record single-day volume in foreign exchange futures, surpassing a previous record set in 2017.

The derivatives exchange operator said FX futures hit a new single-day volume record of 2.7m contracts on Wednesday last week, beating the previous record of 2.5m contracts that was set on June 14, 2017.
