CFTC's Berkovitz backs position limits

US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) commissioner Dan Berkovitz has thrown his weight behind new rules covering speculative position limits.

Speaking at the Energy Risk 2019 conference in Houston, Texas, Berkovitz argued that new position limits should be used to guard against various types of price manipulation, helping to protect the interests of consumers and end-users.
