Navarre makes sustainable debut

The Spanish region of Navarre has printed its debut sustainable bond. Navarre is the third Spanish autonomous community, behind Madrid and the Basque Country, to issue a sustainable bond.

The €50m 2.1% note is due to mature in April 2044. BBVA ran the deal on April 15 as a private placement as well as advising Navarre on creating its sustainable framework.
