Woeful run for EM corps after volatility claims Atrium

Unrealistic pricing expectations are keeping two EM corporate issuers by the wayside after volatile markets forced Atrium to cancel a tender offer combined with a new issue last week.

Atrium European Real Estate, a CEE focussed owner and manager of shopping centres, last week terminated a buyback invitation to noteholders as well as its planned new issue, citing “adverse market conditions”, as Vivo Energy and EPP continue to monitor markets.
