Mark Kibblewhite, head of corporate risk management and capital markets for Europe at Barclays Capital in London, is due to leave this week after 20 years with the firm. Kibblewhite, a prominent figure in the European capital markets, "has announced he's interested in leaving and set March 18th as his departure date," said Michele Reid, spokeswoman in London. She added: "The bank is trying to find another role for him so that he will stay on," noting Kibblewhite is not taking a position at another firm. He referred all questions to Reid.
Kibbelwhite reports to John Winter, head of European investment banking and debt capital markets. Calls to Winter were also referred to Reid.
