BNP Paribas in New York has hired Jonathan Schwartz, credit derivatives sales official at Bank One in Chicago, to cover real money accounts including insurance companies and asset managers. Schwartz joins as a director and reports to Patrick McKee, head of credit structured products marketing for the Americas.
Edwina Frawley, spokeswoman for BNP in New York, confirmed the hire. Thomas Kelly, spokesman for JPMorgan in Chicago, did not return calls by press time.
