Crédit Agricole Indosuez has lost Medes Ma, credit trading manager in Hong Kong. Ma's whereabouts could not be determined by press time. Eddie Lee, head of fixed income in Hong Kong, to whom Ma reported, said the firm is in the process of looking for a replacement. He declined comment on the reason for Ma's departure.
Ma, who joined Indosuez from HSBC to establish the credit derivatives trading desk (DW, 4/22/02), could not be reached. Lee added that default-swap trading is currently being facilitated out of London and Tokyo.
