Norwegian Energy Giant Hit By Derivatives Losses
Statoil, Europe’s second-largest gas producer, said it has recorded NKR15.1 billion (USD2.4 billion) in losses in the second quarter from derivatives used to hedge against moves in foreign currency, interest rates and commodity prices.
