Corporates confront life after UK ring-fencing
UK corporates are preparing for the large UK banks to bring down their ring-fences, a move that could shake up the banking landscape and push more corporates to sign credit support annexes with their banks.
Ring-fencing, which aims to split investment banking from retail banking in the UK, is due to start in January 2019 — meaning most organisations will need to figure out their ring-fencing approaches later this year.
