GlobalCapital China's Panda Bond Database aims, but cannot guarantee, to include every Panda Bond placed with institutional investors. Panda Bonds are defined as renminbi-denominated bonds issued in the Chinese onshore market by issuers incorporated outside China. This includes red chips, China-based companies that are listed and incorporated outside China. The country of each deal is designated by the country of the issuer parent, so red chip deals appear as China in the database, irrespective of where the issuing entity is incorporated. Private placements are excluded from league table calculations. Notes classified as commercial papers are not included in the database.
Individual deal details will open in a new browser tab when you click View.
