Pascal Canfin, European Parliament Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee

Pascal Canfin is a member of the European Parliament's Econ committee and is also vice-chair of the Special Committee on the Financial, Economic and Social Crisis. Canfin, an ex-economics journalist, is also the former chair of the Economic Affairs Committee of the Green Party. As an MEP, he is the Econ rapporteur for credit default swap and short selling legislation. He spoke to DW Senior Reporter Olivia Thetgyi.
