ICE, CME Look To Combine Margin Accounts

ICE Clear and CME Group’s credit default swap clearing unit have asked the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission to allow them to merge margin accounts used by customers to back-stop single-name and index CDS trades as a way of reducing costs.
