CCPs Should Decide What To Clear, Says FOA Chief
Central counterparties, and not the European Securities and Market Authority, should have the decision-making power to refuse to clear certain types of over-the-counter derivatives if they do not wish to take on the risk, said Anthony Belchambers, ceo of the Futures and Options Association.
