The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission both acted on derivatives regulations on Thursday.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission both acted on derivatives regulations on Thursday. The SEC finalized rules for determining which swaps need to be cleared, while the CFTC issued proposals designed to help it monitor the derivatives market.
