Powell quits as IFAD treasurer

Ben Powell is resigning from the position as treasurer of the International Fund for Agricultural Development after 15 months in the job.
Powell announced that the difficulty of moving his family to Rome, where IFAD is headquartered, during the pandemic had “prompted a rethink”.
IFAD will begin advertising for his replacement this week. Powell’s last day has not yet been set officially, but he anticipates serving three months’ notice.
