Deutsche Börse advances in ESG with ISS buy

Deutsche Börse has beefed up its offering in sustainable finance and corporate governance services through purchasing a majority stake in ISS, the ESG data and analytics provider.
The market infrastructure firm is taking about 80% of ISS in a transaction that values the whole firm at $2.28bn. Private equity house Genstar Capital and ISS's current management will hold a stake of about 20%.
