ECM are all going on a summer holiday

After a hectic second quarter, equity capital markets bankers and investor are now hoping for a traditional summer slowdown to allow market participants to take a break.

At the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis, in March, issuance dried up and bankers predicted that the market might forego the traditional summer break in order to catch up. However, from  the start of April, a rush of deals has kept the market busy.
