Bank investors drawn to TD’s Aussie dollar covered bond first

Toronto-Dominion Bank launched the first Australian dollar covered bond of the year on Thursday night, issuing in good size at a similar spread to where it recently issued its dollar covered bond.

TD Bank issued a A$1.25bn April 2023 with demand of A$1.5bn at a re-offer spread of 125bp over three month BBSW through joint leads ANZ, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, National Australia Bank, TD and Westpac Banking Corporation.
