Commerzbank exits Netherlands primary dealership role

GlobalCapital understands that Commerzbank has ended its primary dealership with the Netherlands, where it was a market maker for Dutch bills.

Commerzbank was a single market specialist for the Netherlands, meaning the bank was only a market maker for the sovereign's treasury paper or DTCs (Dutch Treasury Certificates). It ended its role with the Netherlands at the end of 2019.
