FTSE Russell grows ESG research coverage in Apac

Index provider FTSE Russell is expanding the remit of its sustainability investment research in Asia Pacific to include hundreds more Chinese and Japanese securities.

Around 800 China A-shares, Chinese stocks that are listed on a mainland exchange, will now be included in FTSE Russell’s sustainable investment analysis covering climate, screenings and ESG ratings, bringing its total coverage across Chinese securities to around 1,800.
