MUFG banker steps away from the bond market

One of Europe’s leading bond syndicate bankers is leaving MUFG.
Sarwat Faruqui, head of EMEA syndicate and co-head of international syndicate at MUFG in London, will leave the bank on November 29. She is going to take a career break for at least six months and possibly retire from investment banking altogether.
