Interest rate swaps (IRS) trading platform trueEx has announced plans to close its doors after coming under pressure from an alleged bank boycott.

The move is likely to further reduce competition in the swaps market, allowing broker-led platforms to retain a dominant position. TrueEx will exit the swaps trading business later this month.
