BNP Paribas appoints former DB man to lead Mexico expansion

French lender BNP Paribas has hired Deutsche Bank’s head of Mexican corporate client coverage as managing director and country head for Mexico as it prepares to obtain a banking license in the country.

Francisco Hernandez Lozano, who had been at Deutsche Bank since 2009, will be responsible for all BNP Paribas’s corporate and institutional banking activities in Mexico, and will contribute to the development of all the bank’s divisions there.
