Risk-free benchmarks must offer liquidity, lawyers say
New risk-free interest rate benchmarks set out by the Financial Stability Board must offer sufficient liquidity to market participants if they are to present a serious alternative to current standard global benchmarks such as the London Interbank Offered Rate and the Euro Interbank Offered Rate, according to lawyers.
