Morgan Stanley has hired David Bauer, an equity derivatives trader at Goldman Sachs in New York, in a similar role. Calls to Bauer were referred to Melissa Stonberg, spokeswoman in New York, confirmed the hire. Ed Canaday, spokesman at Goldman Sachs in New York, declined comment.
