UBS has recently brought aboard Muse Kwong, structurer at Lehman Brothers in Hong Kong, for the derivatives marketing group. "Muse will be a great addition to the team--she has very strong structuring experience," said Philip Tsao, co-head of debt capital markets at UBS in Hong Kong. Tsao said Kwong, who will start at the end of the month, will cover Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.
Kwong, who joined Lehman from Merrill Lynch in 2003 to cover fx and interest rate structuring (DW, 4/7/03), reported to Kirk Sweeney, head of Asia ex-Japan fixed income sales in Hong Kong. Sweeney was traveling and could not be reached.
Going in the opposite direction Lehman recently hired James Lee, of the UBS derivatives marketing group in Hong Kong (DW, 6/24).
