Crisis Shrinks CDS By 14%: BIS
The current financial crisis is responsible for a 14% drop in the credit default swap market in the first half of 2009, while exchange-traded derivative activity in the third quarter was virtually flat from the previous three-month period, according to the Bank for International Settlements.
