CME Prompts CFTC To Close Research Program
A complaint by CME Group that the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission of sharing sensitive market information with outside researchers appears to be the reason behind the CFTC’s decision to close its academic research program, according to a December letter between the two parties recently obtained by Reuters through a Freedom of Information Act request.
