Nomura Securities International has hired a junior agency trader and lost a junior structured finance analyst.

Nomura Securities International has hired a junior agency trader and lost a junior structured finance analyst. Jonathan Hartley, a former official in the debt funding department at the Federal Home Loan Bank, has joined Nomura Securities International as an agency trader. He most recently worked in a marketing role at the FHLB and reports to Kurt von Uffel, head of interest-rate trading at Nomura.

Meanwhile, Aftab Mathur, securitization analyst, is leaving to join Merrill Lynch's global real estate debt markets group, he said. He referred calls to Patricia Adamo, hiring manager. She did not return a call. Mathur currently reports to Bruce Viergever, head of securitization at Nomura, who also did not return a call.
