Polly Wong, director in the private investor products group at ABN AMRO in Hong Kong, has left, following a spate of senior departures at the firm in Asia. Wong, who joined the house from Bank of China International around a year ago, could not be reached by press time. Hui Yuk Min, spokeswoman at ABN in Hong Kong, declined comment on the departure.
The Dutch bank last month lost Jamie McWilliam, Asian head of financial markets derivative solutions (DW, 5/1), and a Korean equity team led by Hong Shik Kim, head of Asian equity-linked products, quit to reportedly set up a hedge fund (DW, 3/31).
