CIBC Expands Derivatives, FX Team
Canada’s CIBC has expanded its bond and fx teams by hiring Ted Mermel, Joy Ying and Lynne Mazin. Mermel, formerly with JPMorgan Chase, has joined the derivatives and fx team, while Ying, most recently with Morgan Stanley, has been assigned to central bank and sovereign wealth funds. Mazin, formerly of Scotia Capital, will focus on fixed income and derivatives.
