MidEast looks to Q2 for pick-up in deal flow
A slow start to the year for the Middle East loan market has led to deal counts dropping to levels not seen since 2003, while volumes are the lowest since 2006, according to new data released by Dealogic. But project financings and a handful of new corporate transactions are now building up in the pipeline, which could revive the market somewhat in the second quarter, loans bankers said this week.
