Bank of Moscow surprises with rare Russian RFP
Bank of Moscow, which in December 2008 was the last Russian bank to successfully fund in the syndicated loan market, has sent out a request for proposal and is sounding out lenders about its refinancing options for this year, EuroWeek understands. The move is a bold one, as no other Russian bank borrower has attempted to tap the market this year, but lenders are already doubtful about Bank of Moscow’s chances of success unless it agrees to a huge jump in pricing.
