Some Thomson Debt Bid Above Auction Result
Some loans tied to French electronics company Thomson are now bid in the mid 70s, according to one London credit default swaps trader—just hours after an auction to settle CDS on the name landed a result of 63.25 cents on the euro, a payout to protection buyers of 37% of the notional covered. Before the auction, the debt was trading around 80.
