Letters between the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and JPMorgan Chase just made public revealed that the SEC pressed the investment bank to disclose information on its principal transaction revenue and proprietary trading a year before it suffered at least USD6.2 billion in losses from credit derivatives.
