CDS On Irish Banks Set Record
Five-year credit default swaps on Irish banks have surged to record highs. In two days, CDS on Allied Irish Bank, Bank of Ireland and Irish Life and Permanent, which is classified as a bank, climbed 180 basis points, 154 bps and 41 bps, respectively, to 563 bps, 574 bps and 439 bps.
