Rosneft stirs market with $15bn TNK-BP proposal

Russian oil firm Rosneft has approached banks for a loan of up to $15bn to part finance its purchase of BP’s half of oil firm TNK-BP.

The credit has come to the market with a very specific request for $2bn in bridge loans and $500m in five year loans, said bankers.
