Oger’s OTAS launches largest Turkish facility in five years

Turkish telecommunications firm OTAS has launched a multi-tranche $4.75bn facility into general syndication. This is the largest syndicated loan to come out of Turkey in the last five years, according to Dealogic.

Akbank, BNP Paribas, Citi, Deutsche Bank, Garanti and JP Morgan are bookrunners and mandated lead arrangers on the deal. The banks have underwritten a $1bn bridge loan as part of the transaction that will not be syndicated.
