Kuwait Finance House's unit KFH-Turkey has said it achieved net profits of TL160.5m ($87.7m) by the end of the third quarter this year, representing a 25% increase on the same period in 2010. It assets also increased to reach TL13.67bn, while its capital adequacy rate reached 16.5.

AmTakaful, an Islamic insurance subsidiary of Malaysian banking group AMMB Holdings , has appointed Wan Zamri Wan Zain as its chief executive officer – bringing the firm nearer to its official launch. Wan Zain joins from a similar position at AIA Takaful International.
