ADB prints first C$ seven year tenor

Asian Development Bank has hopes of printing in Canadian dollars again soon, having this week sold its first deal in the currency in over seven years and its first debut seven year deal in Canadian dollars.

The basis swap into dollars made the print viable for the issuer, said Sameer Rehman, director of fixed income origination and syndication at TD Securities and sole lead on the deal.
