Deutsche Bank Lures Morgan Stanley Salesman

Deutsche Bank has hired Emmanuel Petrakis, credit professional at Morgan Stanley in New York, as a director in relative-value credit sales, according to Harriet Benson, spokeswoman at Deutsche Bank in New York. An official said Petrakis joins in a new position to expand the coverage of its relative value group. Neither Petrakis nor Erik Falk, the head of relative value group and co-head of securitized product sales, to whom Petrakis reports, returned calls.

Separately, the German bank has lost Veronica Grinstein, a credit derivatives sales professional in New York, to Goldman Sachs, where she will be v.p. in a similar position. Grinstein will be an addition to the Goldman team and is designed to meet the demands of the firm's growing credit derivatives business, according to Eric Oberg, head of credit derivatives sales and marketing in New York, to whom Grinstein reports. Goldman will add a couple more sales staffers in the coming months, added Oberg. Grinstein could not be reached.

Harriet Benson, spokeswoman at Deutsche Bank, did not return calls by press time. Mark Lake, spokesman a Morgan Stanley, did not return calls by press time.
