HSBC has hired Mark Lenssen, head of exotic foreign exchange and equity index products at The Royal Bank of Scotland in London, in a new position as a senior quantitative analyst for fx derivatives. Lenssen's role has been created to develop pricing models to increase the structured product range it offers, said Matt Desselberger, global head of fx options in London.
HSBC is building up its fx structuring division(DW, 10/19). It has recently hired Vincent Craignou, head of global fx options at ING, as global head of emerging markets options and John Bradley, v.p. in fx options at AIG Trading Group, as head of corporate and institutional fx derivatives structuring for the Americas (DW, 10/21). In addition, Andrew Baxter, global head of packaged fx fund products and quantitative fx program trading at Deutsche Bank in London, joined as head of private client structured products and program trading globally.
