CDC IXIS North America has hired Kumar Doraiswami, head of institutional sales at Commerzbank Securities in New York, as managing director and head of sales, which includes derivatives. In his new role Doraiswami, who was between jobs and could not be reached, reports to Steven Pasko, head of marketing, according to Janine Shagoury, spokeswoman in New York. Pasko referred questions to Shagoury, who declined comment on whether Doraiswami is filling a newly created position.
Ed Mitchell, spokesman at Commerzbank in New York, declined to comment on whether he will be replaced.
