The Royal Bank of Scotland's Pierre Ferland, branch manager and treasurer in Tokyo, has relocated to London as global head of financial institutions, according to officials at the firm. Ferland oversaw an expansion of the firm's derivatives business in Asia, including establishing a credit derivatives operation (DW, 5/27/02). Officials noted that a search for a replacement is underway.
