Deutsche Bank is in the process of restructuring its Asian equity business on the back of a senior appointment. Officials close to the firm said Rahul Mookerjee, head of the corporate client group in Hong Kong, has been promoted to a more senior role as head of global markets. In addition, the corporate client group has been folded into the global markets division. The reasons for the move could not be determined by press time. Mookerjee did not return calls. Jason Collins, spokesman, declined comment.
