The International Swaps and Derivatives Association's fund-linked derivative definitions are on schedule to be published this fall. Officials involved in drafting said they hope to address remaining legal issues at two final sessions, one last Thursday, as DW went to press, and one at the end of the month. Topics still under discussion include consequences of extraordinary fund events and definitions of regulatory action in relation to a reference fund.
An ISDA working committee is drafting the docs with external counsel Davis Polk & Wardwell. The committee began work last October (DW, 9/24/04).
